PhaenoNet App online

Tegonal was asked to recreate the PhaenoNet app for the association GLOBE Switzerland. Thereby, Tegonal focused on client-side development if an Angular application which interacts with Firebase. We worked closely with Philippe Göllnitz who was mainly responsible for the Firebase backend and the migration of the already existing observation data. So that the app would look and feel accordingly, GLOBE hired Dani Rolli for the UX/UI design.

PhaenoNet is used to record observations of seasonal changes in plants. Members of the platform enter observations such as the beginning of flowering on selected plant species. The members include students, experts and interested participants.

The resulting code is open source and published on GitHub.
