Scala Meetup: How to migrate to Scala 3.0, aka Dotty?

Scala 3.0 has been in the works for a number of years. Martin Odersky's keynote gives an insight into the new features and consolidations in language design.

This talk focuses on the path that will lead to Scala 3.0. First there will be a recap of the most important changes in Scala 3.0. It then shows which incompatibilities and complications are to be expected and how they can be resolved. Another topic will be the Scala 2.14 roadmap, which aims to simplify the transition to Scala 3.0

The presentation will be given by Lukas. He is a software engineer at Lightbend and works on the Scala compiler.

Thursday, 19.9.2019, 18:00 - 20:00 at Sqooba, Effingerstrasse 47 in Bern.
